NeuHelium Gives Annual Report in 2023 NICE Management Conference

On May 4-5, the 2023 NICE Management Conference was held in Nanjing. A total of over 270 representatives from more than 90 R&D institutions and innovations hubs within NATIONAL INNOVATION CENTER par EXCELLENCE’s (NICE) ecosystem attended the meeting. This is the first time, since the establishment of NICE, all NICE R&D member organizations from Shanghai and Jiangsu gathered together to exchange experience and ideas on promoting R&D and innovation work.

The two-day meeting was presided over by NICE deputy directors Tan Ruicong and Luo Yang. Representatives of each R&D institutions and innovation hubs presented reports on their work in 2022. Liu Qing, director of NICE, gave a keynote report titled "Striving to Build a World-Class R&D Institution".

Group discussions were held among representatives to exchange views on how to improve management and R&D capabilities, spot and tackle shared and key R&D challenges, strengthen cooperation between R&D institutions and the industry, and develop a larger talent pool.

Dr. Liang Longfei, Executive VP of NeuHelium, reported the main work of NeuHelium in the past year:


In term of R&D environment, the platform completed the building of its chip application lab in 2022, where chip developers can test their chips in such applications as computer vision and voice recognition. The service for chip simulation and packaging was also upgraded, which is now equipped with new capability supporting from chip level all the way to PCB level. The company also built joint laboratories on cutting edge technology with leading tech start-ups such as Lynxi and Lightelligence to explore possibilities of combining the technologies of neuromorphic computing and optical computing.
