On April 18th, Wang Yifei, the founder and CEO of AIBUILD, a leading AI start-up in Australia, visited NeuHelium. Liang Longfei, Executive VP of NeuHelium, warmly welcomed the visiting guests, and invited start-up founders from YOFO Robot, MagicWeaver and Meta Yearning as well as academic experts from Fudan University for an in-depth symposium.

By visiting NueHelium, the neuromorphic intelligence R&D and innovation hub in Shanghai, Yifei hopes to get in touch with cost-effectiveness AI solutions and strong AI start-ups in China, as his company is seeking joint R&D partners and is willing to introduce effective AI solutions to the Australian market.

Longfei, Executive VP of NeuHelium, first gave an introduction to the mission of the hub, and demonstrated its R&D capabilities in deep learning training/inference, chip verification and simulation, and chip testing as well as two technology transfer cases in business intelligence and wind turbine maintenance. In the application lab area, Professor Chen Lifeng from the School of Computer Science at Fudan University, presented his team’s research on the ternary integration of man-machine-object and swarm intelligence. The lab, collaborated between NeuHelium and Fudan University, has become an important section of supporting Shanghai’s “New Generation” AI major project.

During the symposium, Yifei introduced the demand for AI solutions in the Australian market, cooperation cases among Australian universities, start-ups and the government, and AIBUILD’s solutions in elderly care, education, real estate, supply chain, and infrastructure. Sun Zhenfeng, founder of YOFO Robot, presented his competitive robot products that has a variety of applications in industry, healthcare and environmental protection. Jia Hongyuan, founder of MagicWeaver, showcased his 3D body digitization technology which is based on a unique AI+graphics hybrid architecture. His company has launched a series of products such as smart body digitization, AI mirrors, and AI measuring. Miao Fei, founder of Meta Yearning, demonstrated his AIGC project that can generate 3D model from text for digital assets.

“Previously, domestic market prefers technology from abroad, but now AI products with high cost-effectiveness developed by domestic companies are also very popular out of China”. Yifei said that the purpose of his trip was to acquire a deeper understanding of the latest technology, products, and markets trend in China. He was delighted to receive support from NeuHelium for this efficient and in-depth communication with domestic AI start-ups. “I hope to be able to act as a bridge to introduce more high-quality domestic AI solutions and partners to the Australian market,” he added.

Through this meeting, NeuHelium has seen a strong interest in domestic AI solutions from international market, as well as its expectations for joint research on technology and products. The platform will take this event as an opportunity to further leverage its role as an international R&D and innovation hub, facilitating more domestic AI start-ups to go to Australian market and providing more opportunities for joint research and business cooperation for start-ups and research teams from China and Australia.
