On September 29th, Liu Guoquan, director of the Information Technology Department from the National Innovation Center par Excellence (NICE) visited NeuHelium with his team for an in-depth survey. CEO of NeuHelium gave an introduction of the platform’s progress of its R&D work.
At the meeting, CEO of NeuHelium presented the background and development of neuromorphic computing industry, the R&D progress NeuHelium has made, cases of technology that has been commercially applied, technical advantages and challenges of neuromorphic chips, and the future planning of NeuHelium.
Yin Chunrong, senior business manager of NICE, introduced the mission of National Innovation Center par Excellence. As the national innovation center spanning Yangtze Delta Region, NICE aims to establish a market-oriented ecosystem that integrates innovation resources from universities and research institutes and to drive them to develop practical solutions to meet market demand. Commissioned by Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality, Shanghai Yangtze Delta Innovation Institute, one of the members of the management committee of Shanghai R&D and Innovation Hub (SRDIH), now serves as the role in the management and guidance of all SRDIHs in Shanghai.
NICE attaches great importance to such cutting-edge technologies as neuromorphic computing. As the neuromorphic chip and SoC R&D innovation hub in Shanghai, NeuHelium looks forward to cooperation and joint research with members in NICE’s ecosystem to promote the advancement of neuromorphic computing industry.
