From September 15th to 19th, the 22nd China International Industrial Expo was held in Shanghai. 15 research and innovation hubs from Shanghai presented their latest research works in the exhibition. NeuHelium, as one of these platforms, showed the audience its recent projects including Sensor Fusion and Perception and Intelligence Fusion.
Sensor Fusion
This system uses a cluster of low-precision sensors to replace traditional camera-based machine vision technology, enabling real-time detection of the position and emotions of fish schools. It utilizes situational awareness for information transmission and fusion, achieving low-precision calculations in high noise environments. The collaboration between sensors enables spatial adaptability, which automatically estimates and corrects the logical position of sensors when the physical position is changed, ensuring stable detection results. This brain-inspired system has the advantages of high robustness, situational awareness, and spatial adaptability, and can be applied to edge computing or fog computing in various scenarios such as smart homes, industrial IoT, and robot collaboration.
Perception and Intelligence Integration Platform
The platform can access multiple sensors and perform acceleration and fusion on sensor data to support SNN and ANN. It covers integrated design and IP library from sensor interface to edge computing. The processing acceleration includes deep learning acceleration and spike neural network acceleration. Through the FPGA prototype verification platform, design can be tailored according to the plan for developing ASIC chips. Different levels of IPs can be selected for the platform, and the ASIC process can be run on the platform's EDA server. Rapid verification can be carried out on the platform's prototype verification tool and simulation accelerator to achieve fast chip development. The technology can support rapid prototype development and productization of AI algorithm applications.
